The paid invoice can automatically be converted into a payment receipt by only converting the header into ‘invoice paid’ or ‘payment receipt’. this is in reference to the pdf extract

I agree, the receipt current design gets mistaken for an invoice many times in my experience. Needs to be more clear.

Yes, I have customers who have several projects going with me and they have a difficult time distinguishing between receipts.
In addition to comments on Receipts above, i suggest the possibility of a template for a receipt, with custom wording as setup by the user. With a bit of work flow, the receipt template must be envoked automatically when payment is recorded.
I agree, the invoice graphic design is very nice, it is expected that the client also gets a nice design with a nice personalized text saying at least thank you for giving me your money.

Having your business number (ABN ** in my case) shown on the receipt is a must for other businesses in Australia to process it correctly. Please add this 🙏
I addition to this, I will propose let there be a template for payment receipts automatically involved when adding a payment to an invoice.
When the receipt is sent, the message or mail should look as that of the invoice mail where a customer can click on a link and decides to print his receipt or not.
There can also be a receipt tab in the mobile app
Devs please also update invoices for the clients after a payment is recorded. I have to open my own invoice with the client yo tell them the remaining amount because after say a deposit they have made, they do not automatically get a new invoice with a receipt for it. They get the email for receipt but they dont get the updated invoice that i get on the system. Please send the update with the receipts
