Multicurrency Selection per Invoice + Multicurrency Statistics Support#3796

O

Hello, team!

First of all, thank you for your great product. I recently subscribed and really enjoy using it.

I’d like to suggest an improvement for users who work with multiple currencies. Right now, changing the global currency setting every time I issue an invoice in a different currency is quite inconvenient.

I do understand that your current statistics system is not designed for multicurrency use, and that’s likely the main reason behind the global currency limitation.

My proposal is the following:

  1. Allow setting the currency individually for each invoice, rather than relying only on the global setting.
  1. Separate statistics per currency, so that data can be correctly grouped and analyzed even when invoices are in different currencies.
  1. For existing invoices, assign them the global currency setting by default, but allow users to edit the currency retroactively. This would make it possible for older invoices to be included in the correct currency group in statistics if the user wishes to adjust them.

This would greatly enhance the experience for users with international clients and make your system even more flexible.

Thanks a lot for considering this request!
